nearly the past year-and-a-half.
According to the latest FEC quarterly filing on March 31st, candidate Oberweis shows

over half a million more than all of his top competitors (cited below), combined!
According to the most recent FEC filing, here are the cash-on-hand balances of the
leading GOP candidates in Southwest Florida’s Congressional District 19:
Jim Oberweis – $2,964,598.73
Jim Schwartzel – $1,475,399.64

“While it is gratifying to enjoy a commanding financial lead heading into the final stretch
of the campaign, it is the support I’ve been receiving from Southwest Florida’s rank-
and-file GOP voters that is most endearing to me,” said Oberweis.
“It is humbling to see our message resonating with my SWFL neighbors as I’m
approached in restaurants, on the street, and at GOP events by people cheering me on
with a ‘go get ‘em, Jim!’,” declared Oberweis. “They understand how passionate I am
about bring reform to Washington, D.C., and I know it’s a passion they strongly share.”
