Cape Coral has a Veterans Medical Clinic, but to get surgical and in-patient care, veterans from Southwest Florida must drive hours for treatment at a full-service veterans hospital.

However, by converting the existing Cape Coral Veterans Clinic to a Veteran’s Hospital, we can have our own veteran’s hospital right here in Southwest Florida while getting it built twice as fast for half as much.

Building a new hospital can cost as much as $2.5 billion, whereas converting the existing clinic can cost as little as $800 million. Building a hospital from scratch can take 15+ years, while converting the clinic can take as little as 7 years.

Southwest Florida veterans have waited long enough.
