Jim Oberweis Far Outpaces the Field In Campaign Funding Going Into the Congressional Race’s Final 30 Days

GOP Congressional candidate Jim Oberweis far outpaces the field in cash-
on-hand going into the campaign’s final 30 days.
After maintaining a significant financial lead in every Federal Election
Commission reporting period since the campaign’s start, Oberweis finds
himself with more than four times the amount of cash-on-hand than
competitor Jim Schwartzel, and more than a million more in available cash
than self-funder Chis Collins.

This comports with what internal polling data reflects as well.

“I’m encouraged to discover we hold such a strong position of advantage
going into the campaign’s final stretch,” announced Oberweis. “At the
same time, those who’ve followed this race closely know that it’s not in my
nature to take a single person’s support for granted, and I’ve been
tremendously honored to get to know so many Southwest Floridians so well
these past 18 months of the campaign. It’s been a truly gratifying
experience for Julie and me to meet so many like-minded patriots on the
campaign trail. I’ve always loved Southwest Florida, but I love it even more
today because of the extraordinary people I’ve met. I will be honored to be
SWFL’s representative to Congress.”

According to the latest Federal Election Commission filing reports as of
today, here is the amount of cash on hand reflected in the campaigns of the
candidates:

Jim Oberweis $2,609,955.10

Chris Collins $1,510,920.50
Jim Schwartzel $626,454.45
Catalina Lauf $547,229.98
Madison Cawthorn (Latest not available)
Ola Hawatmeh $164,644.02
Mike Pedersen (Latest not available)
John Strand (Latest not available)
