Help Democrats Overcome Their Cheating Addiction: Pass the SAVE Act
The Senate must pass the SAVE Act.
Naturally, Sen. Chuck Schumer and cheating-addicted Senate Democrats oppose it.
Dress-it-up anyway way you want, but it comes down to this: Democrats deem illegal aliens to be an essential part of a voting coalition that they’re trying to buy fair-and-square!
Recently, for a laugh, I circulated to some friends a cartoon of a graveyard with a padlocked gate, and a caption reading, “Democrats claim it’s election interference!” It would be even funnier if it wasn’t so true. While Democrats haven’t abandoned dead voters, they’ve discovered a much more useful ally: live illegal aliens.
New evidence reveals that illegal aliens are voting in U.S. elections by the tens of thousands. Does it matter? Why not ask any American candidate who has lost a close election by a handful of votes. Candidates and voting U.S. citizens alike are being cheated.
Democrats love illegal aliens for another reason: By creating “sanctuary cities”, Democrats knew they were issuing invitations for illegals to swarm to those cities. And they did. By the millions. But “so what”, you ask? Doesn’t that just mean Democrat voters in Democrat cities foot the bill for the billions in “free” services they give them? Uhhh…not so fast. In fact, the federal government reimburses “blue” sanctuary cities for the money spent on illegals for such things as “free” $350 dollar-a-night hotel rooms. So, dear reader, while you may be sitting in a red city in a red state, your tax dollars are still going to subsidize illegal aliens in blue sanctuaries like New York City, for instance. All so Democrat leaders running these cities can try to mint new Democrat voters from among those appreciative illegals. Using your money. Feel cheated yet?
It gets worse.
The other reason Democrats eagerly waved millions of illegals across the border for decades –sometimes carefully directing where they went—was because they knew the Census Bureau merely counts them as “persons”, not U.S. citizens, while determining a state’s and city’s population. Why does that matter? Because those Census population figures are used to draw up new seats in Congress. And also used to determine where your federal tax money is sent. Feel cheated yet?
Illegal aliens being invited to swarm America was never about anything more than a raw power grab by Democrats. Democrats now pretend to show their compassion for illegals by rioting and injuring American law-enforcement…protectors who are our own neighbors, sons, and daughters merely trying to enforce the laws we voted for.
Strip away the right of illegal aliens to vote or count in the census, and Democrats might set up machine gun nests along the Rio Grande, for all the compassion they’d have then.
There is a simple correction to the problem. It’s called the SAVE Act. It ensures that only U.S. citizens are allowed to vote in U.S. elections. With all the Democrat tumult in the Senate, you’d think this was an outrageous idea. Ironically, Democrats seem to be saying, “The nerve of Americans to think that only Americas should determine their own future!”
If you believe that only legally-cast votes should count, then you already support the SAVE Act.
Every American deserves confidence that election outcomes reflect legitimate ballots cast by eligible voters.
Our republic depends on it.
